Fundisa is pleased to issue this progress report with thanks to all those who were involved in making the Glory to Glory Outreach a success. The Glory to Glory Outreach engagement activities that resulted in this report were inspired in large by the Fundisa team that arranged a visit to Glory to Glory Children’s Centre in Norton Maridale to donate stationery and spend some time with the kids.
Fundisa team visited Glory to Glory Children’s Centre on the 15th of September. The occasion was a blessed one, we received a warm welcome and the kids were so excited to have us for the day. Our business of the day started with an opening. The team introduced themselves to the children and educated them about fundisa. Our core business an d why we had graced them with a visit. A moral supporting speech on life was given and emotional moments were had. The kids also introduced themselves and shared with us their dreams as they grow up. We had a sing off, fun quiz game. After lunch we presented our donations, had a dancing competition and played soccer with boys. It was amazing how the children were full of life. Our business of the day was ended by a closing prayer from one of the children who volunteered.
Fun was had while it lasted, new friends were made and a connection with the kids was felt. Glory be to God and special thanks to everyone who played a role in making the Glory to Glory Outreach a success.
